Elgin Sweeper has added the Crosswind Fury to its diverse line of sweepers. The Fury unites the technology of regenerative air with a compact body, setting a new standard for municipalities that want powerful cleaning without needing a full-size sweeper. This economical, compact sweeper offers the same efficient cleaning system as our larger models and provides the opportunity to match the needs of municipalities with smaller sweeping applications. Powerful enough to sweep a wide range of streets, maneuverable enough to reach into alleys and navigate narrow streets.

The Crosswind Fury provides unmatched sweeping power with hydraulically driven, dual 36-inch trailing arm side brooms. The sweeping system is operated from the control console center, mounted in the cab. With superior insulation and convenient gull wing doors, the engine enclosure reduces in-cab and drive-by noise levels while protecting the engine.

A key feature of the Fury is its regenerative-air system, which re-circulates the air used to carry debris into the hopper, rather than venting it into the air. Additional features include a 72-inch container height, rear-dumping, 4.4-cubic-yard hopper; a 105-gallon water tank for dust suppression; and dual toolboxes at the rear of the sweeper.

Airports require sweepers that achieve top performance on the runway. To address these needs, Elgin Sweeper introduced the FSX "Fast Sweeping Crosswind." The FSX cleans at higher sweeping speeds on runways.

The FSX features a turbo charged auxiliary engine and a unique pickup head and impeller capable of incredible suction power at higher speeds.
Options include heavy duty caster wheels for the pickup head and a powerful lateral side air blast (single or dual) which directs a concentrated, high velocity air stream through an opening to clear away debris from protruding lights and other obstacles where side brooms can't reach.

Overview:
The Elgin GeoVac sets the standard for quiet by uniting high performance vacuum sweeping with incredibly low dB(A) in-cab and drive-by noise levels to efficiently and quietly clean streets, parking lots, and construction and industrial sites. The vacuum sweep system concentrates suction power in one localized area - the nozzle. Debris is swept into the nozzle path by a side broom and extension broom located underneath the machine, where it is efficiently lifted up by the suction airflow and deposited in the debris body.

The GeoVac is powered by an efficient 99 hp John Deere® Tier 2 auxiliary engine and controlled by direct-touch rocker switches. It features an 8-cubic-yard hopper, 330 gallons of water for dust suppression and a full 8.5-ft. sweep path. Maintenance is simplified with a convenient service module, accessible with an easy-store ladder and automatic full-width gull wing doors that open with the push of a button.
